Southernhay Church’s premises are available for community use during the week. We regard all who use our buildings as part of the church community.
Apart from the regular activities listed below, a number of other groups and organisations regularly use our premises: the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, the Exeter Caledonian Society, Exeter Unitarians, to name but a few.

Church Groups
Guild: First Monday in month - 2.30 - 3,45 pm (Sept-April)
Church Meeting: 4th Tuesday in month at 7.30pm (excl. July, August and December)
Walking Group: 3rd Wednesday morning in the month
Music Appreciation: 2nd Thursday in the month at 2.30pm
Over-50s Club: Every Friday at 10.30am
Toddler Group: Every Friday at 9 am.
Choir: Every Friday at 7.30pm (excluding August)
Child Contact Centre: Alternate Saturdays; a safe, friendly and neutral place where children of separated families can spend time with one or both parents and sometimes other family members. It is a child-centred environment, with toys, fames and facilities that reflect the diverse needs of children affected by family breakdown.

The following organisations meet in the Church Hall during term-time:
Scouts: Wednesdays 7.00 – 9pm
Beavers: Thursdays 5.30 – 6.30pm
Cubs: Thursdays 6.45 - 8.15 pm
Cubs: Thursdays 6.45 – 8.15pm
Hold your meeting on our premises! The Church holds up to 350 people, the Hall 150 and we have smaller meeting rooms.If you are interested in hiring space for one-off or regular meetings/activities, our Lettings Officer would be pleased to hear from you.
